about Zenith SEM

The origins of Zenith Sports and Event Management (SEM) go back to the mid-1980s, when founding partner Chris Tanner travelled the suburbs of Sydney Australia, selling advertising space in indoor sports centres.

Over the following decade he established himself as a successful sports and events marketer, applying the science of marketing to the industry that he loved. "It is not about selling your sport, it is about using your sport to sell products for your client and enhance their bottom line” he said at the time.

Since those early days, the Zenith SEM team has earned a unmatched reputation with its management of athletes, brands, events and media … “getting it right, in and out the stadium”.

In 1996, with a push from former England international footballers Tony Woodcock and Kenny Sansom, Zenith "went global" with strategies for athlete management and event production.


Zenith now spans the globe, servicing the needs of athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, groups, and national federations.


We work across a range of sporting codes, and we deliver a wide range of events (sports, music, community, cultural) from planning to conclusion.
